• How to clean the heat ring?
  Remove the heat ring and soak it in a mixture of warm water and dishwashing liquid. Use a cloth to wipe the ring. You can use the old toothbrush to clean the hard-to-clean areas and to brush off the stubborn grease stains. When the ring is clean, take it out of the basin and rinse it off with cold water. Then let it dry completely before reinserting it into the kitchen. Most models of Zanussi kitchen surfaces are easy to clean. 
• What are the different types of hobs?
  There are 3 popular types - gas cooker, induction hob, and ceramic hob. Zanussi offers you various burner options - from 2 to 4 burners, including a specifically designed burner for deep pans. Most Zanussi hobs can be used with cast iron and steel enamel pans.
  
  Gas Cookers: Gas cookers use fire to cook food. It has different sizes of burners to suit different pots and pans. During your cooking, you can easily adjust the desired heat level since the flame is visible. However, as gas cookers use fire, your kitchen will unavoidably become hotter. You need to keep a minimum distance around the gas cooker to make sure that there is no damage to the kitchen cabinets and the surroundings.
  
  Induction Hobs: Induction hobs generate power by using magnetism to generate heat inside the cooking pan. When an induction hob is used, there is no fire and heat as heat is generated only when a cooking pan is placed on the cooking zone. The induction hob heats up the cooking pot directly; as a result, food takes less time to cook and more energy is saved.
  
  Ceramic Hobs: Ceramic hobs are pretty similar to induction hobs. The only difference is that the surface of the ceramic hobs will heat up when the appliance is turned on. As both ceramic hobs and induction hobs use electricity to operate, you cannot use either of them when there is a power cut-off.
• How to get rid of scratches on the surface of ceramic hob?
  Unfortunately, it is impossible to remove the scratches on the surface of ceramic hobs. However, you can use baking soda, water and a soft cloth to make the scratches fade. Make sure that the surface cools down, then apply a layer of baking soda and water on the scratch. Wipe the scratch off and use another soft cloth for dry wipe.

• How to clean my hob?
  First of all, put away all the food waste. Remove stubborn stains by using a specific detergent for glass and ceramic hobs. Let the detergent soak into the stains, enough to soften the hardened ones on the surface. Use a microfibre cloth to clean the rest of the hob. You can use the crumpled newspaper to clean the hob, making it shinier. The best way to keep the hob clean for a long time is to clean up all food spills immediately to prevent them from accumulating on the surface.
